Astrid Reichel is a full professor and head of the Human Resource Management Group at the University of Salzburg, Austria. Previously she worked as an associate professor at WU Vienna. She earned her Ph.D. in social and economic sciences from the University of Vienna. Her research focuses on careers, “new” forms of (international) work, on macro-questions of Human Resource Management, such as power and organization of HR departments, and on micro-HRM, especially creativity support systems.
