Bernadeta Goštautaitė is a professor and a research fellow at the ISM University of Management and Economics in Vilnius (Lithuania). She earned a master’s degree from the University of Mannheim (Germany) and a Ph.D. from the ISM University of Management and Economics. Professionally, she has almost ten years of experience in human resources management and consulting. Prior to returning to academia, she was HR director in a large service organization. While conducting research, Bernadeta has worked with over 30 private and public sector organizations from various industries (banks, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, etc.). She investigates how individuals adapt to diverse work-related changes across lifespan. Specifically, her research covers aging at work, occupational health psychology, adaptive and proactive behaviors at work, self-initiated expatriation, and, more recently, working with robots.
