Rick Cotton is an Associate Professor of talent management and sustainable innovation at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada.  His MS and PhD in Organization Studies are from Boston College. His research interests include career success, developmental networks, talent management and cross-cultural management and leadership with a focus on how human, social and positive psychological capital enable individuals, teams and organizations to survive and thrive in a variety of occupational, industry and country contexts.  He’s worked internationally, been a change management consultant and Fortune 500 HR SVP and has consulted with primarily services-based firms, governmental entities and multinationals.
